Making Summer Memories, One Outfit at a Time
Share
There’s something about summertime that slows life down in the best way.
Bedtimes get pushed a little later, dinner dishes can wait, and somehow there’s always enough daylight for "just one more thing." One more bike ride. One more trip around the yard. One more splash through the sprinklers before heading inside.
As parents, we spend so much time planning the big moments that sometimes it's the simplest ones our kids remember most.

Summer around our farm has been filled with all the little traditions that make this season so special.
Digging in the sandbox.
Trips to the county fair for cotton candy.
After-dinner ice cream runs.
Picking strawberries and blueberries together.
Watching the irrigation run while checking how much the corn and beans have grown since yesterday.
It's messy. It's busy. It's beautifully ordinary.
And if I've learned anything since becoming a mom, it's that these are the moments I never want to rush through.

Of course, kids rarely stop long enough for us to think about what they're wearing.
That's exactly how it should be.
Whether it's buttery-soft bamboo pajamas for slow summer mornings, easy Magnetic Me outfits that make diaper changes a little quicker before heading out the door, matching two-piece sets for everyday adventures, or classic graphic tees paired with comfy shorts for exploring outside, I want every piece at Little Sprouts Outfitters to simply fit into your family's story.
Because childhood isn't about perfectly coordinated outfits.
It's about making memories in clothes comfortable enough to keep up.

One of my favorite additions this summer has been our boys' water shorts.
They're made for exactly what summer should be—running through sprinklers, backyard water fights, splash pad adventures, creek days, and every soaking-wet laugh in between.
Because if there's one season kids should come home completely exhausted and dripping wet, it's summer.

As much as I love curating beautiful collections, what I love even more is imagining the memories being made in them.
This summer, I'm reminding myself to embrace the slower pace.
Because these seasons don't last forever.
The clothes may eventually be folded away, passed down, or outgrown—but the memories we make while wearing them will stay with us for a lifetime.
Here's to making summer memories, one outfit at a time. 🌱
With love,
