Hey there! I'm Taunie — a wife, mama, small business owner, and the heart behind Little Sprouts Outfitters.

Growing up around horses, cattle, and agriculture, the western and farm lifestyle has always been a big part of who I am. Today, my husband and I are raising our son, Eliot (affectionately known as our little Sprout), on our family farm in the heart of Oregon's Willamette Valley.

And as you can probably imagine, there's never a shortage of dirt, animals, tractors, or adventures around here!

How Little Sprouts Took Root

When I became a mama, I quickly realized how difficult it was to find children's clothing that reflected the lifestyle we were raising Eliot in.

I wanted western and farm-inspired pieces that were stylish without being overly cartoonish, comfortable enough for everyday adventures, and made with fabrics that actually felt good against his skin.

I wasn't necessarily looking for more clothes. I was looking for better options.

What started as late-night searches for cute outfits quickly turned into researching fabrics, discovering smaller children's brands, and eventually dreaming about creating a place where other families could find those same thoughtfully selected pieces.

In September 2025, Little Sprouts Outfitters officially came to life.

And the name? That was the easiest decision of all. It came from Eliot's nickname, Sprout, and the idea of watching our littles grow through every season of childhood.

Handpicked With Heart

One thing I love sharing with customers is that Little Sprouts is a curated children's boutique. I don't manufacture the clothing myself. Instead, I personally research and handpick the brands, fabrics, and styles that make it into each collection.

From buttery-soft bamboo pajamas and cozy organic cotton to practical everyday pieces and western-inspired favorites, I look for clothing that brings together comfort, quality, and a little personality.

I also love supporting other mom-owned, women-owned, and family-owned businesses whenever possible. There's something pretty special about small businesses supporting one another while bringing thoughtfully made products to families like yours.

And through it all, I have one rule I won't compromise on:

If I wouldn't put it on my own little Sprout, I won't bring it into the shop.

It's really that simple.
